"China Root-Seeking" Summer Camp 2012

2012 China Root-Seeking Summer Camp—Beijing & Yunnan

Introduction

2012 China Root-Seeking Summer Camp will be held in August 2012. This year, as the sole organizer in Southern California, Chinese Culture Development Center will kick off Root-Seeking Summer Camp from August 2 through August 14, 2012 in Beijing and Yunnan.

Schedule

A.  Beijing, August 2 to August 6: Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, The Great Wall, The National Stadium (Bird’s Nest), The Temple of Heaven, etc.

B. Yunnan, August 7 to August 14: Yunnan Dinosaur Valley, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Spruce Plateau, Yushui Village, Old Town of Shuhe, Black Dragon Pool, Prince Mu Palace, Old Town of Lijiang, etc.

Application

Chinese American children and adolescents between age of 12 to 18 are eligible to apply. Please see the application form for additional information. Applicants must have a passport that is valid for at least six months. Application deadline: April 30, 2012
